She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bartee and Lake Loraine Worthington; her husband Clyde James Payne; her son Derek Charles Payne; her grandson Keith Burelle; and her siblings, Walter Worthington, Oliver Worthington, Evelynn Booker, Mildred Rives and Dorothy Newbold.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Burelle; her granddaughters, Brea Burelle and Alexis Jernigan (Dan); her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Mayson Jernigan; her siblings, Allan Worthington, Charles Worthington, Mary Alice Brooker and Edna Earle Warren; and her stepgranddaughters, April Mahaffey and Kelly Lawrence.
