She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Lucille Rosen Chapman and James Dan Chapman; her husband Bill Carlton; her daughter Connie Carlton Holt; and her sister Patsy Chapman Ware.
She is survived by: her sons, Ben Carlton (Anne) and Billy Carlton. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023).
