He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Wall Clemons; his daughter Candace; his son-in-law Keith Freeeman; his parents, William Andrew Clemons and Lou Honor Gilmore Clemons; and his siblings, Eulus Clemons, Colon Clemons, Julius "Buster" Clemons, George "Buddy" Clemons, Estelle Clemons, Vera Booth, Margaret Pickens and Laverne Boles.
He is survived by: his son Christian Clemons (Johanna); his grandchildren, William Clemons (Hayden), Madalyn Warrick (William), Madison Clemons and John-Mark Freeman; and his great grandchild Lottie Rune Clemons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
