He was predeceased by : his stepfather Jack Evans. He is survived by : his children, Lakean Nicole Epperson (Micheal DeJesus) and James "Logan" Epperson; his grandson Greyson Gilbert DeJesus; his parents, J. D. Epperson (Martha) and Kathy Evans; his sister Melissa Epperson; his niece Gracie Burchfield; and his stepsiblings, Brent Williams Dawn (Jonica), Jennifer Williams and Jeanette Rathburn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
