He is survived by: his wife Dae Barrentine Self; his children, Debbie, Leesa Limbaugh, James Self, Jr. and Robin Miller; his grandchildren, Adam Miller, Jake Miller, Kimberly, Chrissy, Jarred Self, Dallice Self, Arthur Maull, Gabriel Higdon and Selinda Newsom; his great grandchildren, Grant Self, Madison Newsome, Meha Self and Kaley Newsome; his niece Patricia Jackson (Greg); his nephew Mark Holman; his great-niece Jill Preuninger (Stephen); his great-nephew Chad Jackson (Brandi Hadaway); and also, Grey Preuninger, Cameron Hadaway and John Tyler Hadaway. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
