It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Martin Banks of Hueytown, Alabama, born in Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on July 3, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Frances; his children, Susan Morgan, David Banks and Becky Martin; his parents, Johnie Banks and Flora Banks; and his sister Nellie Marie Banks.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his son Royce Banks (Gail); his stepdaughter Sydney Hancox; and his brother Allison Banks. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
