With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sue R Douglass of Hueytown, Alabama, born in Dothan, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her mother Pauline Thomas Reynolds; and her former husband Preceding. She is survived by: her husband Bernard A. Douglass, Jr.; her children, Steve Douglass (Gala), Allen Douglass (Emily), Lyn Teague (Jeff) and Stephanie Robertson; and her grandchildren, Michelle Deavers (Marty), Leslie Burns (Greg), Chris Teague, Kevin Douglass (Kristin), Catherine Crawford (Nick), Alex Waldrop and Traci McGill (Andrew). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and a host pf nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made o First Methodist Church of Hueytown.
