She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Clifton Smith and Margaret Elaine Smith; and her brother Lewis Wesley Smith. She is survived by : her husband Mike Gilbert; her children, Stacie Gulley (Chris), Kevin Gilbert and Shane Gilbert; her grandchildren, Austin Gulley, Zac Gilbert, Carson Gulley, Davis Gulley, Allyson Price and Ava Nicholas; her sister Tommie Syx; and her sister-in-law Judy Martin. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy, the family request contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Teresa Gilbert.
