She was predeceased by: her mother Ada Forrest Johnson; and her husband Ben. She is survived by: her father Elmer Johnson; her siblings, Elmer Johnson Jr., Geneva McBride, Mildred Armstrong and Virginia Woods; and her aunt Liz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
