“In Feb 1962 & a freshman at Mississippi State, I was selected to be a co-op student intern at MSFC, Astrionics Lab, Adv Studies Branch. Within my first few days I had met all the branch members. Joyce welcomed me warmly, and for the next 3 years, she was a role model and mentor for me. She was brilliant, friendly, and could explain complex concepts. I am now retired after a 50 year aerospace career and credit Joyce for giving me direction when I needed it.”
