She was predeceased by: her mother Maxine Hopkins Smithey; and her brother Flint Waylon Smithey. She is survived by: her father Waylon Smithey of Huntsville; her sisters, Janna Owens of Birmingham, Julia Williams of Huntsville and Paula Rogers (Lee) of Columbiana; and her siblings' children, Adam Irby (Christiana) of Birmingham, Kevin Irby of Birmingham, Christopher Martin of Birmingham, Cody Owens (Kaitlin) of Birmingham, Alanna Weems of Birmingham, Jennifer Weems of Birmingham, Jordan Patton of Birmingham and Amber Williams of Grant.
