He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hunt and Ernestine Roberts Hunt; and his siblings, Jacqueline Christian, Betty Kirkham and Bill Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Laurene Adams Hunt; his grandchildren, John Amelang (Cheryl), David Amelang, William Amelang, Laura Amelang, Sarah Amelang (Alex) and Elizabeth Amelang (Shar); his niece Karen Ward (Rufus); and also, Camille Hunt Goldston (Wade) and Cecile Hunt (Dominic).
