She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Gray Vaughn of Monrovia; her son Walt Vaughn; her parents, C. W. Fanning and Mildred Fanning; and her parents-in-law, Carl and Helen Vaughn.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Gray Vaughn (Rex), Ronda Ann Vaughn West (Randy), Carol Ann Vaughn Cross (Jonathan) and Clifford Jeffries Vaughn (Mary); her grandchildren, Carmen Vaughn Bragg (Sean), Hannah Vaughn Creed (Kaze), Ellie Vaughn Milby (Cole), Carl Walton Vaughn (Whitney), Anna Grayce West Smith (Drew), Clara West Posala (Carleone), Jonathan Samuel Cross, Jr., Sydney Elizabeth Cross and Jackson Gray Vaughn; her daughter Madeline Ann Vaughn; her great grandchildren, Gray Michael Bragg, Graham Denton Bragg, Porter Barnes Smith, Eliza Christine Smith and R. G. Creed; and her brother Paul W. Fanning (Dee). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
