She was predeceased by: her parents, Carson Lowder Hornsby and Mary Thompson Spencer Hornsby; her husband Gaines Pendleton Gravlee; her siblings, Raymond Lee Hornsby and Mary Virginia Martin; and her sister-in-law Joan Hobby Hornsby.
She is survived by: her children, Gaines Pendleton Gravlee, Jr. of Huntsville and Beth Gravlee Eiland of Redlands, CA; and her children-in-law, Susan Chastain Gravlee and Russell Eiland. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
