She was predeceased by: her parents, Jethro Burnett and Zora Burnett; her husband William T. Young (Bill); and her siblings, Zellah Carlton, Vernon, Jack and Clinton Burnett.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Young (Cindy) and Kathy Honaker (Herb); her grandchildren, Joey McBride (Kim), Erica Pasquier (Matt) and Dustin Honaker (Carla); her great grandchildren, Jordan Cooley, Tyler Forbush, Fairen Pasquier, Tristan McBride, Tess Honaker, Elise Honaker and Emilia Honaker; and her brothers, Harrold Burnett (Mae) and Doyle Burnett (Donna). She is also survived by wife and loving mother.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.ORG).
