He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn M. Legg. He is survived by: his children, Donna Hunt (Jimmy), Sandra Moore (Gary) and Wesley Legg (Tina); his grandchildren, Korie Pressnell (Chad), Aaron Hunt (Jessica), Andrew Hunt, Bonny Moore, Seth Moore, Lauren Legg and Olivia Legg; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Pressnell, Bailey Pressnell, Kaylee Hunt and Emma Hunt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AGAPE of North Alabama.
