He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Gilbert Allen and Jessie Thomas Vessels; his wife Susan Runge Allen; his daughter Brittany Allen Mefford (Skylar); and his siblings, Robert Allen and Diane Hardin. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, and other family members.
