It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha E Hereford of Huntsville, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfather Earl Cline; her mother Judith Earline Cline Phillips; her former husband Jerry Norton Smith; and her husband Bledsoe Dilworth Hereford. She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Hereford Bentley (Trey); her grandchildren, Brett Hereford Maxey (Nate), Philip Wind Bentley IV (Tori) and Sarah Chase Bentley; and her great grandchildren, Henley Maxey, Vance Maxey, Stanley Maxey, Braylee Maxey, Miller Maxey and Henry Maxey.
