Betty Gray Goens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Gray Goens of Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Gray and Bertha Mae Benson Gray; her husband William Goens; her son Mike Goens; and her siblings, Vernon, James Gray, Jessie Hughes, Lula Mae Gray and Belle Couch.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Elwin (Kerry) of Huntsville and Kenneth Steven (Kaye) of Decatur; her daughter-in-law Sharon of Florence; and her grandchildren, Michelle Davy (Sean), Matthew Anderson (Pamela), Kristina Holmes (Jeff), Karen Griffin (John) and Lance Hyche (Missy). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
