She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Rice and Becky Rice; and her husband Wesley McCurry. She is survived by : her sons, Ralph (Vicki) and Steve (Tammy); her grandchildren, Wesley McCurry (Jennifer), Michael McCurry (Tracy), David McCurry (Leigh), Michelle Reeves (Hugh), Griffin McCurry (Alex), Kevin McCurry (Laura Katherine) and Morgan McCurry (Isaac Tillery); and her friend BJ. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

For anyone wishing to honor BJ, she was very passionate about local missions and the family encourages contributions in her honor.
