He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy T. Melson Sr. and Kay Holt Hardy; and his grandparents, Herbert Melson and Mae Melson. He is survived by: his children, Billy Ray Parden (Celeste) of Tampa, Florida and Cassie Brooke Melson of Huntsville, Alabama; his sister Rochelle Woods of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, Landen, Jaxon, Aria and Jesse; and his nieces, Lydia and Katelyn.
