He was predeceased by: his parents, Bracy Oran and Cappy Clara Phillips; and his wife Kay S. Phillips. He is survived by: his sons, Edwin W. Phillips (Donna) of Washington, Floyd A. Phillips of Florida and Jeffrey C. Phillips of Madison, Alabama; his brothers, Ewart Phillips of Texas and Jerry Phillips of Florida; and his grandchildren, Jessica Kay Scott, Matthew Phillips and Stephanie Phillips. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
