Brenda Kay Woods Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Kay Woods of Huntsville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Woods (Buddy) and Mildred Maples; and her siblings, Kenneth Woods, Timmy Atchley and Jessie Atchley.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Honea and Kenneth Pontius; her daughter-in-law Cassondra Honea; her siblings, Junior Atchley of Athens, Linda Gowan of New Hope, Rosemary Pyrkowski of Logansport, Betty Johnson of Fayetteville and Elaine Bailey of Huntsville, Alabama.; and her grandchildren, Breanna Honea of Murfreesboro and Kaitlynn Pontius of Farmington.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hampton Cove Funeral Home, Cemetery (6262 US-431, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
