He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Bagwell and Martha Harris Bagwell; his wife Bonnie Baker Bagwell; and his nephew Joseph Bagwell. He is survived by: his children, Jason Bagwell, David Bagwell and Claire Bagwell (Chase Blackwell); his grandchildren, Liliana and Lauralai Blackwell; his siblings, Lynn Bell (Gary), Gail Johnson, Joe Bagwell and Tracy Bagwell (Susanne); and his nieces and nephews, Matt Bell (Caroline), Kristin Johnson Romback (Anthony), Anna Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Joshua Bagwell (Anne), Heather Bagwell and Jordan Bagwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Whitesburg Baptist Church choir in memory of Wayne Bagwell.
