He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Lydia; his siblings, Walter, Tom and Betty; and his son Bill.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Carla Huggins and Pat Sandy; his grandchildren, Patrick Honey, Scott, Mark and Kris Huggins; and his great grandchildren, Trinity Honey and Evyn Huggins. He is also survived by nieces, nephew.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Jackson Way Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL or Liberty Methodist Church in Prospect, TN.
