He is survived by: his parents, Carl Franklin and Marjorie Brown, Sr. (Hodinott); his wife Linda; his sons, Carl D. Brown and Derrick Brown (Dawn); his grandchildren, Chase, Bailee, Gloria, Lacey and Dillon; and his great grandchild Ellie Kay.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to in memory of Carl.
