With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Monroe McCranie (Huntsville, Alabama), born in Ocala, Florida, who passed away on February 7, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Vivian McCranie; and his grandson Matthew McCranie. He is survived by: his wife Marie Hurst McCranie; his children, George McCranie (Beverly), Daniel McCranie (Melody) and Cheryl McCranie Mathis; and his grandchildren, Scott McCranie, Julie McCranie, Stacey Mei, Gena Gyengo, Katie Stephens and Kelly McCranie. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
