She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Laird; her parents, William "Bud" Powers and Setha Powers; and her brother L. D. Powers. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Cawthon (William), Tina Bosso of Gulf Breeze, FL and Neal Laird of Huntsville; and her grandchildren, Danielle Holm of Asheville, NC, Ashton Bosso of Gulf Breeze, Cody Young-Cawthon of Huntsville and Connor Thomas of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
