He was predeceased by : his parents, Erskine Freeman and Margaret Freeman. He is survived by : his wife Paula; his children, Keri Anconetani (David) and David Freeman (Emily); his grandchildren, Ryland, Lexi, Elle and Blake; his brother Stanley Francis (Betty Lou); his siblings-in-law, Saundra Larkin and David Larkin (Norma); and also Minister David Freeman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask for donations to be made to Hillwood Baptist Church Children's Renovation Fund.
