He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rogers and Evelyn Rogers; and his son Robert "Bobby" Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Whisenant Rogers; his siblings, Beverly Gregory (Doug), Rebecca Dunivant (Barry), Judith Westerhouse (Wayne) and Jeff Rogers (Sue); his children, Keith Rogers and Kelley Rogers Fogarty; his children-in-law, Melissa Thomason Rogers and Matthew Fogarty; his stepchildren, Stephen Jones (Sarah), Bethany Jones Alaidroos (Hasan) and Jeffrey Jones; and his grandchildren, Walton Kelley Rogers, Jackson Pettus Rogers, Owen Michael Fogarty, Henry James Fogarty, Hope Jones and Daniel Alaidroos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Highlands Huntsville (3301 Whitesburg Dr, Huntsville, AL 35802). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sleep in Heavenly Peace or Lincoln Ministry.
