He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hargrave and Dosha Hargrave of Lincoln County; his wife Peggy Hargrave; his son-in-law Wayne Joseph Simmons; and his sister Fannie Mae Helums.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Simmons Bailey and Steven Wayne Hargrave; his grandchildren, Rusty (Claudia), Tyler (Deidre) and Austin Simmons (Heidi); and his great grandchildren, Maggie, Reed, Cason, Graham, Lane and Randall Simmons (RJ). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
