It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cyrus Vincent Brocato of Huntsville, Alabama, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sarah Brocato (Bollinger) and C. H. Brocato; and his wife Doris Marie Brocato (Bailey). He is survived by : his children, Lynne Sarah Anne Daly (Daniel Herbert Daly), John Ward Brocato (Donna Kay) and Gail Rose Lenox (Billy Lenox); his sister Marguerite Rose Ferrara (Salvador Anthony Ferrara); his grandchildren, Kevin Daniel Daly, Ryan Keith Daly, Sarah Kathleen Randolph (Daly), Donna Bailey Staples (Brocato), Theodore Vincent Brocato and S. J. Brocato; his great grandchildren, Samantha Pauline Marikian, Emma Rose Daly of Nathan, J. D, Beard, Jackson Patrick Daly, Lillian Campbell Daly and Daniel Vincent Daly; and also Heartley Sarah Thornton (Ferrara).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Col. Brocato's name to the American Cancer Society.
