He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Otis Brand and Cora Lee Fowler Brand; and his sister Carolyn Brand Beck. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ann Blankenship Brand; his daughters, Laura D. Hart (John) and Cheryl L. Saunders (Mark); his grandchildren, Jason M. Gray, Amanda M. Foshee, Cassandra E. Atherton, Madalyn A. Atherton, Emma K. Saunders and John A. Hart; and his great grandchild Harrision H. Foshee.
