It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Shelby (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on November 9, 2018, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, John Logan and Kathryn Lanier; his children, Scott Lanier (Brandy), David S. Lanier IV (Lauren) and Alex Lanier; his grandchildren, Addison, Thatcher, Davey, Eleanor, Eli and Theodore; and his siblings, John Logan Lanier Jr. (Rhonda) and Mary Margaret Lanier. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
