With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dena Linley Franklin Bear (Huntsville, Alabama), born in Brilliant, Alabama, who passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dena Linley Franklin Bear to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew "Dude" Linley and Hassie White Linley; her husband Lucky Bear; and her granddaughter Linley Wilbourn. She is survived by: her daughters, Dulcie Franklin of Huntsville, Donna Franklin of Huntsville and Debbie Wilbourn (Tommy) of Huntsville; her granddaughters, Tracy Valenzuela (Rob), Karen Langford (Kai), Kim Porter and Kellen Casey Pottraz (Joe); her great grandchildren, Cristian, Brody, Abigail Langford, Kai Valenzuela, Anna-Lin Casey and Stella Humphres; and her sisters, Hazel Lee, Willie Vinston and Penny Lauderdale. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Brilliant High School Gym Renovation, c/o Coach Ryan Sanderson 690 Main Street, Brilliant, AL 35548 in memory of Dena.
