He is survived by: his children, Joseph "Joby" Rains (Amanda) and Betsy Hunt (Michael); his granddaughter Paige Evans (Sadler); his great grandchild Anna Lane Evans; and his sister Martha McKee. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
