She was predeceased by: her husband Julius Nelson. She is survived by: her daughter Andria Gunn (David); her siblings, Kay Moseley (Bill), James "Buddy" Brantley (Allette), Brenda Cannon (Ellis), Janelle Thompson (George) and Stanley Brantley (Sandy); and her sister-in-law Debra Brantley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
