She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Gilliam; and her parents, Ruby Powell and John Powell. She is survived by: her children, Nicky Gilliam (Sherry) and Sandy Parker; and her grandchildren, Staci Radden (Michael), Ashlie Hathaway, Natalie Gilliam, Cody Gilliam (Heather), Darcy Kenshaw and Jason Parker. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (Huntsville) (698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valhalla's Celebration Chapel.
