With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Housemans Walker (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on October 20, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Dean Walker Sr.; her sons, Joseph Dean Walker Jr. and Jeffery Eugene Walker; her siblings, Charles Housmans and Mary Elizabeth Cruikshank; and her parents, Blanche Housmans and Alfred Housmans.
She is survived by: her sister Ann Wagoner of Valdosta, GA; and her grandsons, Michael Walker (Katherine) of Birmingham and Stephen Walker (Courtney) of Huntsville. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Huntsville, or Encompass Health Hospice.
