He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Lisa Roney (Rick), Nickie Smith, Brandi Quoma (Richy), Jonathan Smith, Brandon Smith (Shannon) and Hillary Smith. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and nine siblings.
