She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emiliano Barajas and Marcelina Cervantes; her children, Lilia Meza, Sijifredo Meza, Simon Meza, Juvenal Meza, Luz Maria Meza, Pedro Meza, Xochitl Ortega and Jose Meza; her brother Sacramento Barajas; and her husband Jose Refujio Meza. She was also cherished by grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
