He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Imler; his daughter Sonya Welsh; his parents, William Imler and Donna Imler; and his siblings, William "Skip" Imler and Cindy Kuempe.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie "Little Ed" Welsh, Jeffrey Welsh (Shannon) and Angela Rogers (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sydney Thompson, Collin Thompson, Samantha Marks, Haylie Anderson, Tevan Mallory and Jamie Thomas; his great grandchildren, Leightin, Weslyn, Rylan, Olivia and Grayson; his siblings' children, Haley, Danielle, Brittany, Meagan, Kaitlin, Charles, Justin and Jason Imler; and his siblings, Dan Imler (Pam), Lori Shoemaker, Jean Jones (Richard) and John Imler (Kim).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
