She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Powers. She is survived by: her mother Annette Koehn; her children, Daphne Dunson, Amanda Baskins and Patrick Aycock; and her brothers, Phillip Goldsmith and Alvin "Pete" Powers. She is also survived by three grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811).
