With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Renk Shannon of Huntsville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Renk and William Renk; her husband Jim Shannon; and her son Kevin. She is survived by: her son Tom Shannon (Connie) of Neenah, WI; her granddaughters, Erin Theuerkauf (Andre) of St. Louis, MO and Kelly Shannon of Washington, D. C.; and her great grandchild Sascha Theuerkauf. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
