We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2019, at the age of 96, Elsie Ellingsen (Huntsville, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Merritt and Mary Flemming Merritt; her husband Francis Howard Ellingsen; and her siblings, Opie Broadhead, Ralph Merritt and D. W. Merritt.

She is survived by: her sons, David C. Ellingsen (Elaine) and Kenneth S. Ellingsen; her grandchildren, Jeffery Scott Ellingsen and Julie Lynn Ellingsen (Chuck Eckert); her great grandchild Leah LeeAnn Ellingsen; and her sister Jewel Plumb.
