He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Dismukes; and his son Don. He is survived by: his son David (Kim) of Germantown, Tennessee; his daughter-in-law Becky Mathis (Robert) of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Ashley Allen (John) of Huntsville, Lauren Johnson (Randy) of Huntsville, Kitty Roberts (Ros) of Huntsville, Caroline Studdard (Daniel) of Birmingham and Ethan Howard (Mallory) of Birmingham; his sister Estelle Jackson of Warren, Michigan; his brother-in-law Harrol Dismukes of Cullman; and his close friend Shelby Flint of Plymouth. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
