She is survived by: her husband John Hudgens; her daughter Sonya Hudgens Cox; her son-in-law Doyle Cox; her brother Robert Pierce, Jr.; her granddaughters, Abigail Chapman (Jimmy) and Mary Sophia Cox; her great grandchildren, Adley Mae Chapman and John Doyle Chapman; her extended family Cassandra Holman; her cousin Tina Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Hobbs, Susan Whelchel (Tom), Laura Hardy (Tom) and Julie Kenimer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of treasured friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the building fund at Holmes Street United Methodist Church, 501 Holmes Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801.
