He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gene, Sr. Drass and Helen Drass; his wife Marie; his children, Charles (Brenda), Dave (Karen), Chris (Tara), Kelly, Kim and Kristy (Scott Anderson); his brothers, Dennis (Tina) and Gerry (Terri); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Alexa, Maya, Nick, Zach, Phillip, Arielle, Morgan and Molly.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Gene's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org).
