She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Thomas Whitten; and her parents, Ida Belle Sheftall and Clarence Karl Barnett. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Thomas W. Wright, Jr. (Lindsey), Linda Wright Riley (Ken), William H. Wright and Sarah E. Wright; and her grandchildren, Whit Wright (Ruth), Carson Wright (Elspeth), Elizabeth Pertl (Ben), Cole Wright, Haley Ruffner, Luka Ruffner and Kate Milligan (Steven).
