He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Critchelow and Ella Critchelow (Scaggs); his former life partner Carolyn Largent; and his siblings, Sam, Tom, Junior, James Critchelow, Ida Mae, Mary, Ruth and Patty.
He is survived by : his wife Flora Helen Keel of Huntsville, AL; his children, Brian Critchelow (Crystal) of Sullivan, Marlene Mercurio (Andrew) of Clifton Park, NY and Rodney Critchelow (Jaime) of Holly Ridge, NC; his grandchildren, Nicole Mercurio, Sean Mercurio, Riley Critchelow and Bryant Critchelow; his stepsons, Billy Bennett of Huntsville, AL and Steven C. Bennett of Hazel Green, AL; his sisters, Wanda Metcalf, Virgina McGuffin (Farrell), Margie Oliver and Tootsie; and his sister-in-law Wanda Summers (Chris Krycun) of Madison, AL.. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
